Most recently, Dr. Gary Sivewright served as Vice President for Campus Ministries at Mount Vernon University . Before coming to Mount Vernon, he served as youth pastor in Oklahoma and Kansas, editor of Bread and Teens Today, and director of Nazarene Youth International ministries. He has authored six books, speaks to thousands each year across the U.S. and is a frequent contributor to Holiness Today magazine. Sivewright is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University, Nazarene Theological Seminary, and earned his doctorate from George Peabody College at Vanderbilt University. His latest project is “Gary Sivewright's FamilyWorks,” a seminar to aid local churches in their ministry to the family. Gary and his wife, Carol, are the parents of Chad and Jason.
