In cooperation with Nazarene Youth International, these free educational courses are designed specifically for volunteer youth workers, like yourself. You have a servant's heart and the ministry you have within your local church is significant.  

Many Nazarene districts offer these courses through their school of ministry for those seeking ordination. The class material for the school of ministry is available on our web site.

However, because The Discipleship Place desires to provide educational opportunities for lay persons serving in the local church, you will soon be able to download lessons for individual study and work on them at your own pace. Because we understand you have both a busy life and a strong desire to grow and learn , these lessons will be designed to give maximum educational impact with minimal time commitment.

There are two concentrated areas of focus for the Youth Ministry Academy studies. First, there is the theological and doctrinal area of focus. By working through these courses you will gain insight and understanding as it relates to faith and practice. These lessons are currently available and you can begin by clicking here.

 The second concentrated area of focus deals specifically with youth ministry practice. The courses for this area of focus will help you gain insight into best practices for youth ministry. At this time these lessons are only available in the instructor led format but will soon be available for individual study format.
